I wouldn't call last week a flop or grind - got me and some guildies together, took some heroes, zoned into Springs 3 times and in an hour or so we were done. Good times.

Officially best required item ever!
I left my heroes in the outpost, loaded up an INSANELY fun resto/channeling build and trashed the Charr in The Breach.
The presents were total crap of course BUT this time the road made so much fun that I just didn't care about the reward.
GW at it's best!
BRAVO, BRAVO!

Don't know about you, but it took me a good few hours to farm the scalps I needed.
On average, I got 6-8 scalps per run, with one even yielding 11. This was me and 4 heroes in Talus Chute, took me about 22-25min per run, killing all the Avicara.
Anyway, I am not complaining, it gives a person a break from the normal part of the game, thinking about builds, etc... I was just making an observation, compared to last week, this week is a breeze... an hour later and I have me enough hides for 6 accounts
Let the good times roll!

talk about opposing difficulties between this week and last week. the farm last week wasn't really hard, per se, but more difficult than char hides.. lol

And its ok. Of course would be nice to have gwen doll ... hope next time.

Charr Hides seemed deceptively simple(especially one per gift), and somehow I thought there must be a catch. There is none. Thank you ANet. Hopefully, this means we will have a peaceful week without ten districts full of people trying to make ludicrous amounts of money from this week's item. I think most everyone can do this one themselves.

I think I was there a little later, but there was a lot of WTT 20 hides for your Nicholas Gift, it's such a great ratio you're WINNING, right?

that's interesting, what are people supposed to do with 20 charr hides after they've already gotten their gifts?
